Clinison Medical Centre is seeking a dedicated Enrolled Midwife to join its maternity and clinical team in Soroti.
The role focuses on providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality maternal and newborn care while supporting mothers through antenatal, delivery, and postnatal services in a patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe and quality midwifery care to mothers and newborns
- Monitor and document maternal and newborn health conditions
- Support antenatal, delivery, and postnatal care services
- Administer prescribed medications and clinical procedures
- Educate mothers on safe pregnancy, breastfeeding, and family planning
- Maintain accurate and timely maternity and clinical records
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and clinical staff
- Support general nursing duties when required
- Ensure adherence to infection prevention and control standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive clinical environment
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certificate in Midwifery from a recognized institution
- Valid registration and practicing license with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council
- At least 2 years of experience in a health facility (added advantage)
- Strong clinical and patient care skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
