About the Role (IT Support Officer – Kampala, Uganda)
Q-Sourcing Servtec is recruiting an IT Support Officer in Kampala, Uganda to support internal systems, networks, and data operations within the Risk and Compliance department.

Key Responsibilities
IT Support & Systems Management
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Install and maintain computers and office IT equipment
- Manage system backups and antivirus updates
- Maintain IT inventory and documentation
Data Support & Compliance
- Assist with data collection, cleaning, and validation
- Support secure storage and access control of company data
- Handle CRB data management, reporting, and dispute resolution
- Support data analysis and quality assurance processes
Vendor & Operations Support
- Liaise with external IT service providers
- Ensure systems are secure, efficient, and up to standard
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- 2–4 years experience in IT support or data-related role
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems
- Experience in data management and reporting is an advantage
- Strong analytical, organized, and self-driven mindset
Work Environment
