Role Summary
The Senior Data Analyst will lead data analysis for assigned business areas, ensuring stakeholders have access to accurate, timely, and actionable insights. The role involves translating complex data into reports, dashboards, and models that support strategic and operational decisions. The analyst will also enforce data governance standards and support junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Enforce data quality and governance standards across assigned business areas
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data using PostgreSQL, Python, and Excel
- Build dashboards and reports using Power BI, Looker Studio, or Metabase
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Product, Marketing, Data Engineering)
- Apply statistical methods to identify trends and business insights
- Supervise and mentor junior data analysts
- Participate in Agile sprint planning and continuous improvement processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in data analysis, with leadership exposure
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools
- Experience with PostgreSQL and large datasets
- Knowledge of Agile workflows and Git version control
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in ride-hailing, transport, or fintech is an added advantage
